Fast forward 3 months. I am not cooking and getting high. I’m not even smoking and getting very high. I buy only top shelf buds from the dispensary. I’m lucky to have access to that kind of thing being in a medical marijuana state.
Last week I bought an ounce + (31 grams) of Afgoo. I had already tried smoking it the week before and its pretty good. I ground it up and made crock pot butter. Mind you this butter is more than 8 times as strong as what I made in the beginning. I can only get a slight relaxing dreamy feeling…but I am not really high. It does create a nice base for smoking and getting higher, but it doesn’t pack a big enough punch for me. Very sad, and pretty expensive for this kind of disappointment.
Yesterday I took 3/4 a cup of creamy peanut butter and 1/4 cup of coconut oil and mixed it together with 3.7 grams of ground bud. I covered with foil and cooked on 325 in the oven for 25 minutes or so. This stuff is crazy tasty if you like peanut butter! I got higher than the brownies last week, but still I’m looking to be hit in the face with a sledgehammer. The high was kind of dreamy, very relaxing, full, body, and chill…but I need more.
These are some of my experiences. I think I’ve spent $400 in 3 months trying to cook. I’m not getting high the way I want…like in the beginning when I was absolutely wrecked.
More info: I weigh 235 lbs–I’m not a small guy…but my wife who weighs much less is feeling it even less than I do.
When I make butter I use my crockpot on low with some water…It never boils, but its pretty hot. I keep it on low for 24 hours. Then I strain with cheese cloth and strainer and separate the butter and water in the fridge overnight.
I’ve also tried double boiling olive oil and a bunch of coffee ground weed for 1.5 hours. Its actually a nice taste, and I do get high, but its not the slam dunk I"m looking for.
If anyone can rescue me and give me a F U Up experience I would be forever indebted to you. I also am growing "medicine for personal use" to take the pressure off my wallet when experimenting.
